Have you ever donated to a cause and wondered about how the aid/support is delivered? I think we all do.

We take it on trust, largely, that the organization raising support has the appropriate mechanisms to do what they say they will do.

Partnerships with people and small groups ‘on-the-ground’ as it were, together with small organisations like the MacKillop Foundation, adds an additional dimension.

Not only do local contacts see the needs that may not always be obvious to outsiders, but they also make the connections that make project delivery function well and function efficiently.

They are also directly accountable for the outcomes which ensures that every donation delivers.

Additionally, for small organisations like ours, they enable us to encounter the people they support in a more personal way.

We at the MacKillop Foundation are proud of our partners, excited for our upcoming projects and we are grateful for the opportunity to make a difference.
